I just tell them about the tire-loan & they simply scratch their heads, are duly amazed & say, "oh, I see." As we move into this season of thanks-giving, I am so thankful for having you all in my world. Friends ask why I keep going back to the dealer when my car is no longer under warranty. (***many, many thanks & deep gratitude to Lloyd who has been the main reason I keep coming back - his sweet presence & limitless kindness is all I would ever want from anyone, never imaging I would be on the receiving end of this from a "dealer"!! He is such a gentle-man)*** You know, we get to be of a certain age & we've experienced quite a lot when it come to cars - buying & maintaining them - and I have to say that this is the very best experience I have ever had with any car-folks (dealers or otherwise). You have taken such loving care of me & my car: fitting me in when it works for me, welcoming my dogs & all of the treats (!!), lending me a tire when I most needed it but couldn't quite afford it at that moment. Unfortunately I don't do online reviews but I just want you & all of the folks at Gillis to know how much I appreciate you & them and how blessed I feel to have this amazing relationship.

Thanks to Michael Flanigan, sales rep for making it a great experience.ĭear Jan - thank you for checking in & for the invitation to leave a review. Overall, Gillis Auto Center is very good dealership, small & out a ways but its worth the 30 mile scenic drive out to Shelton. But we couldn't get it for two days waiting for the airbag parts & installation. The next day I called Michael & told him we would take it. I tried to negotiate the price down but they wouldn't, that was the lowest they would go. The only thing wrong was it had an airbag recall & they were waiting on parts. So my wife & I met with Michael to look at it, got in & noticed it had only 44 miles & 33 hours of run time, took it for a test drive & really like it. He said, no they just had it on the lot for over a year. I called him to come look at it & ask if it was a new Expedition & if there was anything wrong with it. I came across Gillis Auto Center so I emailed them about the 2018 Expedition because it had almost everything I wanted on it for about $3000-$5000 cheaper & within an hour I had a response from Mike Flanigan, sales person. I started looking for my Expedition online for a new 2019 at dealerships within 30 miles of me. I purchased a new 2018 For Expedition from Gillis Auto Center in Shelton, WA. I'm glad I went with them and was able to support a local business. They like to steer you toward Our Community Credit Union which is local to the Olympic Peninsula.

Warranty for life is a plus and it's legit, not some kind of scam warranty with high deductibles. Finance explains your options but doesn't hard sell you on fabric protection and things like that. One other great thing is you get to see both Dodge and Ford products side by side which is unique that they carry both lines. If you're looking for a down to earth family business with top quality vehicles, go here. If you're looking for a beater or tweaker car, (you know what I mean, the gold 1990 Camry with the primer hood and mini donut spare tire) this probably isn't the place for you. For a small town, they've got a surprisingly good selection and you can tell this is no hooptie lot. Kind of felt bad for beating them up on the price but I got a great deal and more than fair trade in value. I live 70 miles away and I'll always make it my first stop when looking for a ride. Even if you're just kicking tires he's more than willing to spend time with you. Known Gillis since they were in Sumner and been a customer for 15 years. I'd buy a vehicle here any day of the week.
